Prove “Why York” is an industry leader with the power behind it to grow their business.· Create custom marketing strategies to help your customers grow.· As needed, you will receive support from our market leaders and a marketing manager.· Assist your customer to select the best York products to meet their client’s needs.· This includes coaching them on their selling approach, product specifications/performance and application regulations which may vary by job.· Negotiate prices and terms of sale.· Ensure customers participate and attend our industry-leading training classes offered locally and virtually.· Our local service managers are best-in-class providing your customer a great resource to improve their quality in the field and increase consumer confidence as they build their business.· Perform to plan.· Set weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals for overall sales, sales calls, product mix/segmentation, new dealer registrations, training, as well as many other sales metrics.What we look for:· Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.· HVAC industry experience (required)· Minimum 3+ years of direct outside sales experience.· Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.· Travel required to each customer within aligned market.

Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of low voltage equipment. Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices such as laptop computers and/or hard copy. Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule. Input, retrieve and archive inspection documents via laptop computer. Complete assigned inspections on time. Perform other duties as assigned.How you will do it:Some documented experience in low voltage electrical systems. We will train new hire.Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals. We will train new hire.Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage. Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary small repairs.What we look for:RequiredDocumented experience in low voltage electrical systems and Fire and /or Security Systems experience required. Specifically, Burglar Alarm experience. Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.Massachusetts Low Voltage Class D LicenseHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Successful completion of the Inspector Entre Course (Electrical or Sprinkler).Achieve NICET Level II certification after 2 years on the job.Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation that may involve weekends to meet customer requirements.Willing to travel out of town if neededDemonstrate a high level of customer service.Ability to work well with others.Self-starter that can work with supervision.Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.PreferredExperience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals.1-3 years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems preferred.NICET certification preferred
