Program SummaryIn the Adult Partial Hospitalization Treatment and Intensive Outpatient Treatment programs, we focus on creating a therapeutic environment where people can learn strategies for coping and improve their functioning. Each client’s treatment plan is centered on group therapy which allows for sharing of experiences while gaining support and validation. When people need intensive, comprehensive treatment for psychiatric and chemical dependency issues but do not need inpatient or residential hospital care, Natchaug offers intensive, structured clinical treatment in programs that may include up to four hours of treatment a day, five days a week. These intensive treatment programs can help prevent the need for hospitalization. They can also help people make the transition to home after inpatient or residential treatment.
