Job Summary: Clinical Supervisor oversees program(s) and/or staff to ensure that a high quality, cost-effective service is delivered by the department(s). Provides direct patient care that is specific to each patient's needs, including those needs that are age specific. Coordinates with various departments on campus to ensure that milieu needs are being met - including but not limited to external clinical programs, environmental services, infection control, pharmacy and security.Clinical Supervisor coordinates and oversees services with collaborative providers such as DMHAS and DCF. Models the effective, efficient operation of the Program by scheduling and assigning work, resolving processing problems, collecting data to monitor progress. Continually improves quality and productivity by identifying improvement opportunities, and recommending and implementing changes.Implements and monitors departmental goals and objectives for the work group, by analyzing needs and developing recommendations.
