The SEC Reporting Manager is a hybrid role that will report to the Assistant Controller. You’ll be responsible for managing the preparation of the Company’s consolidated SEC financial statements as well as reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis for assigned accounts. The ideal candidate is diligent, detail-oriented, and has experience working in a fast-paced, public company environment.Position SummaryPrepare and file SEC reports, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, proxy statements, and other required or ad-hoc filings.Oversee financial statement data collection, consolidation, and XBRL updates, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Conduct research on new SEC regulations, GAAP updates, and other technical accounting matters; present key findings to accounting leadership.Manage the preparation and submission of statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned areas, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Maintain and enhance internal controls, ensuring all area specific controls are performed and documented.Coordinate audit processes, including compiling audit documentation, responding to auditor sample requests, and ensuring proper internal control documentation.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting is required5+ years of experience in public accounting or within a SEC or financial reporting departmentCPA license highly preferred or a willingness to pursue CPA certification is requiredPrior experience or familiarity with SEC filings is idealExperience with W-Desk/Workiva is a plusMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel and WordWho We AreHealthcare Services Group (HCSG) is an experienced partner managing housekeeping, laundry, dining, and nutritional services within the healthcare market. This includes ensuring the work team is aware of information from management, and that management is aware of the information it needs to make decisions in support of strategies and goals.Develop assigned employees such that their skill sets on the job are increased. Coach new and existing employees in processes, procedures and practices. Make recommendations as to performance improvement both to assigned employees and to organizational management. Participate in the Company's formal performance evaluation process of assigned employees.Support the Company's core values and exhibit positive leadership behaviors.Perform all other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAssociates Degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related field OR HS Diploma with minimum of 18 months of trade or technical training in Power Plant Technology or related fieldAt least eight (8) years experience as a Technician in an appropriate area of plant operations, maintenance, fuels or I&CDemonstrated leadership skills to include attention to safety (personal and environmental schedules, equipment and its efficient use, and the use of employees to get the job done Effective communication skills in all directions Ability to plan and organize work through scheduling and making appropriate assignments to best utilize available talentMotivational skills that foster individual and team development and accomplishment Full understanding and appreciation for procedures, policies, processes and practices Ability to use the technology and equipment associated with both the Foreman Position and those positions assigned to the Foreman Minimum performance rating of "B" for the past two years No discipline within the last 24 months Satisfactory attendance record Ability to work in a power plant environment that includes climbing, walking long distances, and standing for the majority of the time Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
