The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restroom maintenance operations at Miami Airport. This includes supervising the maintenance team, ensuring all restroom facilities are fully operational, performing regular inspections, and documenting daily maintenance and repair tasks. The role ensures that all repairs and maintenance are completed to high standards, and all records are accurately maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate maintenance workers to ensure timely completion of restroom inspections and maintenance repairs, typically during the night shift but may be adjusted based on the discretion of the County’s Project Manager.Ensure that all restrooms are fully clean, operational, and ready for use at the end of each shift.Document all maintenance and repair work completed, including parts used, with clear and detailed daily reports.Manage the maintenance, replacement, and repair of restroom facilities, including but not limited to:Changing light bulbs.
Removing graffiti from walls and surfaces.Repairing or adjusting doors, locks, and coat hangers.Maintaining and repairing paper towel, napkin, and toilet paper dispensers.Repairing or replacing partitions, sinks, toilet seats, soap dispensers.Opening clogged drains, repairing traps, and fixing wash bowls.Ensure that all repairs are completed promptly to minimize disruption to restroom availability.Maintain a clean and organized maintenance workspace, ensuring tools and materials are readily available.Oversee inventory management of maintenance supplies and parts, ensuring that necessary items are ordered in a timely manner.Monitor and evaluate maintenance worker performance, providing training and support as needed.Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure compliance with safety regulations and airport cleanliness standards.Respond to urgent repair needs and perform troubleshooting for complex maintenance issues.Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
Experience in maintenance management, particularly within a facilities or janitorial environment.Strong technical knowledge in maintenance and repair work, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.Excellent leadership and team coordination skills.Ability to handle emergency maintenance issues quickly and effectively.Attention to detail and a focus on high-quality service delivery.Strong organizational and documentation skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Flexibility to work various shifts based on the needs of the airport.
