The Quality Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and cleanliness standards of Miami Airport’s restroom facilities. This role ensures that all maintenance and cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards, ensuring functionality, cleanliness, and operational readiness of restrooms at all times. The Quality Coordinator will closely monitor and document maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with airport policies and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and thorough inspections of airport restrooms, ensuring they meet cleanliness, operational, and safety standards at all times.Verify that maintenance workers are conducting all required repairs, such as light bulb replacements, removing graffiti, adjusting doors, locks, and repairing restroom dispensers (e.g., paper towel, napkin, toilet paper).Ensure that all restroom fixtures, including partitions, sinks, soap dispensers, and toilet seats, are properly maintained and operational.Monitor and ensure that repairs are completed efficiently, including tasks like unclogging drains, repairing traps, and ensuring wash bowls are fully functional.Review and document all maintenance and repair activities completed by the maintenance team, ensuring proper documentation is maintained for all tasks performed and parts used.Work in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager to ensure all repairs and maintenance activities are completed within the required time frame and to quality standards.Regularly assess the cleanliness and operational readiness of restrooms, ensuring they are fully functional at the end of each shift.Perform routine audits and reviews of cleaning and maintenance logs to ensure that all processes are compliant with established procedures and safety standards.Provide feedback to maintenance personnel and janitorial staff to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure compliance with airport regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.Ensure that quality assurance processes are in place for all maintenance and cleaning activities and identify areas of improvement based on inspections and feedback.Report any non-compliance or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel and assist in resolving operational challenges.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in quality control or facilities management, ideally within a large public facility such as an airport.Knowledge of maintenance procedures, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems related to restroom upkeep.Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring high cleanliness and operational standards.Ability to document and analyze data related to cleaning, maintenance, and quality control processes.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to identify and address quality issues quickly and effectively.Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, particularly in public restroom management.
