The Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting Operations in administrating, maintaining, and overseeing all aspects of the Company’s safety, security, and quality programs at designated locations.
Minimum Pay $70,000.00- Maximum Pay $77,000.00
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Management: Assist in managing safety, security, and quality programs, policies, and initiatives at the station level.Continuous Improvement: Ensure enhancements in safety, security, quality, productivity, client relationships, and customer service are effectively implemented.Training: Train employees on safety, security, quality, and job-specific policies and procedures as required.Policy Implementation: Oversee and ensure the implementation of safety, security, and quality policies and procedures.Compliance: Ensure compliance with drug testing, motor vehicle record checks, and regulatory standards, including OSHA, EPA, DOT, CFR, FAA, and TSA.Quality Assurance: Ensure employees adhere to established policies and procedures, producing work that meets or exceeds expected outcomes and quality levels.Record Maintenance: Maintain all records related to station safety, security, and quality, including SQM database entries, Accident/Incident Reports, OSHA Logs, Environmental Spills/Releases, Observations, Inspections, and Audits.Audits and Observations: Conduct safety observations and audits.Reporting: Create reports for the Safety and Quality Manager.Culture Building: Help instill a culture of safety, security, and quality, delivering measurable results.Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.Compliance Adherence: Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.Miscellaneous: Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
Language Skills: Proficient in English and Spanish. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and handbooks. Effective in presenting information and responding to questions from various stakeholders. Possesses and utilizes effective listening skills.Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Capable of dealing with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education:
College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
