We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsAs the Clinical Resource Director, you will assist in establishing and leading a multiple hospital, supply expense agenda for the clinical resource management program under the direction of the Division Clinical Resource Director. You will be responsible for driving positive change through program definition and leading initiatives that support the health care organization’s clinical expense agenda.What you will do in this role:Collaborate with the Division Clinical Resource Director to develop and implement division based strategies and processes to reduce supply expense per adjusted admission.Identify, implement and execute with the Division Clinical Resource Director, the division supply expense margin improvement plan with a primary focus on high cost of good departments to include surgical services, cath lab, ep lab and special procedures.Identify division and facility supply expense variances, and in collaboration with the Division Clinical Resource Director will develop, execute and monitor action plans to mitigate increases in supply expense.Participate and facilitate, value analysis meetings such as facility based, division based, service line or physician led meetings.Participate in clinical value analysis committees to review products and technology for clinical evidence and benefits.Build relationships and increase customer satisfaction with hospital leadership, chief medical officers, clinical directors, physicians, value analysis teams and supply chain leadership.Identify, develop, implement, monitor and verify division based product standardization, contract compliance, product utilization, cost data, process improvements and waste.Understand and conduct financial analysis of quantitative and qualitative information through strong data mining and analytical skills.Identify and communicate alternative products during product recalls or backorders.What Qualification you will need:Bachelor’s degree required Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy or other Allied Health Profession required. Master’s degree highly preferredMinimum of 5 years of clinical operational hospital or healthcare related experience preferredLeadership experience (CNO, ACNO, Director, etc.) preferredMulti-facility (Integrated Delivery Network, IDN) experience preferredSupply Chain experience from a clinical perspective preferredSupply Chain understanding, if no direct supply chain background/experience preferredAdvanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferredLPN/RN, Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified Value Analysis, Health Professional (CVAHP), or similar credentials preferredHealthTrust Supply Chain is a critical part of HCA Healthcare’s strategy.
