Overview: The Maintenance Technician is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the property. This involves ensuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The Maintenance Technician will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor. In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will assume all maintenance responsibilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operates mammography equipment and performs various mammography related procedures.Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining records and files, and cleaning and adjusting equipment as needed.Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of tasks.Works under general supervision.Duties as assigned.
