The CT technologist actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all, while implementing the principles of AdventHealth. You Will Be Responsible For: Performs all exams using AdventHealth CT protocols. Uses AdventHealth policy for proper identification of patient prior to performing exam. Educates patient concerning exam.Completes all exams in a timely manner, keeps work flow moving, and minimizes empty table time. Follows through after completing exam with communication, transportation and discharge of OP’s.Performs all types of imaging procedures and operates all equipment safely and properly including scanners, injectors and monitors. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients on all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.Reviews all images of all exams, repeating images as necessary for best possible result.Uses computer system for ordering, changing, and canceling exams according to protocol. As an RN in CVOR setting you will collaborate with other members of the health care team including physicians, to deliver quality health care.In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs.What you will do in this role:Recognize and address urgent and emergent surgical situationFoster continuity and quality of care in the best interests of patientsAssess and monitor patients’ medical status while in the ORAssess patient’s condition and monitor vitals, providing general nursing careEnsure the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipmentKeep the operating room sterilizedReview charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocolsCommunicate effectively with patients, teammates, and physicians to ensure continuity of careRequirements:Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is requiredMinimum of2 years of recent RN Open Heart Surgical Services experience1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferredBSN is preferredBLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) requiredCNOR preferredHCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 221-bed acute care hospital.
