This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care by directing and supporting clinical staff in accordance with established nursing standards, organizational policies, and regulatory guidelines. The Supervisor promotes evidence-based practices, fosters a collaborative environment, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.Reporting Structure: This role collaborates with another supervisor, working Monday through Friday on 8-hour shifts, with an average start time of 8 AM (flexible based on department needs).Coverage: The system has two VAN supervisorsone is based at Gulf Coast Medical Center, while this supervisor oversees HealthPark, Lee Memorial Hospital, and Cape Coral Hospital. BS degree preferred.Experience:Previous experience in nursing leadership, preferably in vascular access or a related specialty. Preferred but not required. Proficiency in advanced vascular access procedures, including ultrasound-guided insertions. PICC line proficiency.
