Records and reports to the physician any adverse reaction to treatment. Obtains additional orders, if necessary. 5.Treats clients to relieve pain, develop or restore functional and maintain maximum performance, using physical means, such as exercise, massage, heat, light and electricity. 6.Teaches, supervises, and counsels the family and client in the physical therapy program. Instructs client in care and use of adaptive devices such as: wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes and prosthetic and orthotic devices. 7.Records on a timely basis all evaluation data, treatments, and client's response to therapy intervention. Also records quality assurance data as directed. 8.Prepares an evaluation of the client's condition and performs periodic reassessments. 9.Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants at least every 30 days. 10. Performs in accordance with physician’s orders and under the supervision of the Clinical Manager.What you will do in this role: Assesses home care patients identifying physical, psychosocial and environmental needs as evidenced by documentation, clinical records, case conferences, team reports, call-in logs and on-site evaluations.Completes OASIS, assessment and visit paperwork according to agency policy.
