Overview: The Maintenance Technician is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the property. This involves ensuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The Maintenance Technician will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor. In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will assume all maintenance responsibilities. POSITION SUMMARY: The Heavy Equipment Technician performs repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment, compact heavy equipment, light service equipment, and light trucks. Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.Welding. Maintain a service van and its inventory. Process paperwork after completion of each job.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school graduate preferred. Mechanical and electrical aptitude.Welding experience.
