This position will provide both electrical and mechanical support in the manufacturing/facility needs. This position will ensure that electrical power to all areas of the building and all equipment remains constant. Additionally, this position will support the necessary maintenance duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and production maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

5:30am-5:30pm; Rotating 223 Schedule - 48 hour/week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday) & 36 hour/week (Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday)
This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

Install electrical power to new equipment and any new areas of the building.Sustain current electrical power to equipment and building.Follow all established local, state, federal, and company safety rules and procedures.Follow NFPA 70E guidelines as outlined in SW 70E guideline.Support Maintenance and Engineering on special design projects as needed.Conducts preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner to ensure operation of all equipment, in an efficient and safe manner.Supports site housekeeping and safety programs, maintaining a workplace that is clean and safe.Assists in the installation of new plant equipment.Maintains production equipment in good operating condition while optimizing equipment uptime to insure the safe and timely manufacture of quality coatings.Improves reliability and operating efficiency of plant equipment.Operates shop tools, equipment, and as many machines related to maintenance as skill level will permit.Understands basic electrical and pneumatic diagrams, familiar with 12 VDC to 480 VAC electrical wiring or circuits and capable of diagnosing 115 VAC control circuitry.Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust have at least one (1) year of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.Must have at least one (1) year of work experience working with AC and DC electric.Must have at least one (1) year of work experience installing conduit and pulling wire following all applicable codes and best practice situations.Must have at least one (1) year of work experience working with 120 volt – single phase up to and including 240/480 – three phase electric for power distribution.
Preferred Qualifications:
Have an industrial, electrical, and/or welding degree, certification or license.Have at least two (2) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.Have at least two (2) years of experience in AC and DC electric.Have at least one (1) year of maintenance experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic conceptsHave at least one (1) year of work experience implementing Programmable Logic Controls ("PLC")
