The Area Quality/Risk Director is responsible for an environment and culture that enables the hospitals to fulfill their mission by meeting or exceeding goals, conveying the mission to all staff, facilitating staff accountability for performance, and motivating staff to improve performance. The Area Quality/Risk Director is responsible for multiple hospitals. Periodic overnight travel may be required. Must be able to travel overnight to fulfill essential training requirements.This position manages, directs, and plans all aspects of Quality and Risk Management. The Area Director is responsible for hospital-wide quality management programs and works with hospital administration, departments, and the medical staff to monitor and evaluate the quality of delivery of patient care services within hospitals. While the Area Quality/Risk Director may be located in one hospital, the responsibility to the other hospitals is the same. This position works with multiple hospital CEOs to make sure all of their quality management programs, and reporting needs are met.
