Qualifications: EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED:Associate degree (A.S., A.A.) or two-year technical certificate in Mechanics and Electronics preferred or a related field and two years of mechanical and electrical maintenance and supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Communication and interpersonal relations as applied to interaction with co-workers, supervisors, vendors, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.Ability to learn computerized maintenance management system.Knowledge of basic mechanics, welding, electrical, fabrication, boilers, refrigeration, preventative maintenance, plant operations, PLC’s, general electrical and government safety and environmental regulations.Able to supervise department personnel in a fair and consistent manner.Be able to recognize problem situations and take appropriate steps to resolve.Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.

Supervises employees by scheduling work assignments, hiring, terminating, and evaluating performance.Monitor and assist sanitation employees as they clean equipment to ensure proper sanitation practices and chemical safety. Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators, ie. Master Sanitation program, Pre-op inspection and Visual observation. Communicate issues or potential issues to management.Monitor CIP and COP systems; liaison with Ecolab to ensure systems are functioning and accurate.Assist in third party audit preparation and auditing process.Lead cross-functional Sanitation team.Perform visual and scientific observation of plant, equipment and parts for cleanliness.
