In a fiduciary gatekeeper capacity, the Analyst role in IMR maintains dedicated coverage of outside investment managers and strategies within their asset class, providing high-conviction ratings on strategies which are expected to beat benchmark and peers, and is aligned with those expected outcomes through substantive compensation mechanisms. The role cultivates the quality of the recommended list (the IMR Focus List), by continuing to enhance it with best in class strategies for both internal stakeholders (as these strategies are the building blocks of our $150B+ mutual fund complex, where we collaborate with the '40-Act Advisor internal portfolio management team to the complex) and external for users of the list in our various advisory and brokerage platforms. What You'll Do:Proactively identify, recommend, monitor and drive allocations of investment funds and strategies expected to outperform benchmarks and peers, following Investment Manager Research's rigorous investment process. Serve as investment management industry SMEs to support our discretionary model portfolio program, proprietary manager-of-managers mutual fund complex and brokerage sample portfolios, as well as other investment stakeholders, investment committees, and 1940-Act Funds Board of Directors.
