THE OPPORTUNITY Engineering Interns are given opportunities to develop and apply their engineering knowledge in a real working process to further sharpen their skills and reinforce their academic learning. Each work term begins with a description of their work assignments. Their work is guided and mentored by a Senior Plant Engineer and/or Technical Manager. They are also given opportunities to work with other engineers and managers to broaden their plant experience. At the end of each work term the Engineer Intern is given the opportunity to present a summary of their work for the term. This internship comes with a $3000 Housing/Travel stipend in addition to an hourly wage of $22.00, and you will receive professional development through the 11-week program.
