Human Resource Generalist
Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000
The Trulite Human Resource Generalist will function as the sole Branch HR Business Partner for the Indianapolis, IN location. In this role, the successful candidate will drive organizational culture while facilitating metrics and organizational communication strategy, coaching associates and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitate dispute resolutions and all other task in line with company policies and legal practices.

A Human Resource Professional who works in partnership with the Operations Leadership team, is a problem solver and an employee advocate! The HR Generalist is responsible for partnering with the local leadership team to understand the business and develop strategic and operational HR solutions that will strengthen culture, improve performance, and enhance engagement within the business unit. The HR Generalist serves as a consultant to management on human resource related issues, assesses, anticipates, and acts on HR related needs. The HR Generalist will cultivate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization
SKILLS YOU BRING:
Manage full lifecycle HR for the branch.
Coach Managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention to enhance employee engagement and successful business outcomes.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting is in compliance.
Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Help prepare, review, and analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend actions and solutions to improve staffing levels, performance, retention, and employee experience.
Manage recruiting/interviewing processes and standard work within Branch.
Recruit to staff open positions.
Drive and manage the onboarding process.
Coordinate benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations for branch employees and submit proper forms to Corporate HR for processing.
Process time and attendance at the branch level and transmit information to Corporate on a bi-weekly basis.
Conduct open enrollment meetings and training sessions as needed.
Participate in the reporting of Workers Compensation accidents to insurance.
Participate in all safety programs, including related meetings, training, and reporting.
Provide HR reporting to facility managers regularly.
Assist managers with employment decisions and workforce planning including hiring plans, staffing, and terminations.
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Lead employee relations initiatives ensuring balance between the needs of the business and the needs of employee.
Advocate for employee needs and advise leaders on issues impacting employee engagement.
Drive organizational culture. Facilitate metrics and organizational communication strategy to drive culture.
Manage the exit process, including analysis of exit data to identify patterns and develop opportunities to improve as an organization.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field
Experience collaborating closely with operational managers and leaders in a HRBP capacity
Experience advising managers and leaders on employee matters, compliance, and workforce planning.
Demonstrated experience in issue identification and resolution skills (identifying and implementing solutions, getting others to support proposed solutions)
Experience managing both strategic initiatives and the execution of day-to-day deliverables
Experience with HR data analytics
