Meridian St. Carmel, INThe clinical nurse participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency. This position may perform duties associated with symptom-management, direct in-clinic patient care, and/or telehealth.May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction. This is not a leadership role and will not have any direct reports.Implement and monitor patient care plans.Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.Serve as a primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care.Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.This position is located in the medical office outpatient clinic. Develop and document care plans and therapy programs.Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated. Ensure necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered.May supervise and direct nursing staff.Coordinate, assemble, and maintain documentation as required.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Advanced Life Support preferred.
