Astound Broadband is hiring for a Broadband Technician in Evansville, IN. The Broadband Technician I is responsible for residential installation and disconnections for data, video, and phone on the customer premises with a high level of focus on customer service, customer education, and quality of work. This role will be responsible for ensuring and recording correct RF signal levels. The BBT I is required to communicate with leadership and dispatch as needed.

This position will be based in Astounds Evansville, IN office, and would be an in office/field role.
A Day in the Life of the Broadband Technician:
Residential install and disconnects* (data, video, phone) on customer premisesEnsure/record correct RF and signal levels within specificationsCommunication with leadership and dispatch as neededCustomer educationOperate company vehicle in safe and responsible mannerOther duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Table:
Experience: None required, this is an entry level positionExperience in problem-solving, time management, and basic computer skillsStrong customer service skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to use a ladder, hand and power toolsAbility to work effectively, both independently and as part of a teamMust possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record compliant with the company policy
Education and Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
