Mechatronics Maintenance Technician II uses schematics, blueprints, sketches, and manuals and draws on their expertise to repair/replace defective electrical and mechanical components on equipment using hoists, gantry cranes, and hand power tools. The Mechatronics Maintenance Technician II acts as a subject matter expert and provides stakeholders with recommendations on facility and equipment design improvements. Mechatronics Maintenance Technician II performs critical, preventive-maintenance inspections of various equipment upon request to prevent breakdowns or significant overhauls.
