Assist him with mobility using his walker.Male client #2 seeks a living arrangement in a country or farm setting and incorporating elements related to his interests such as John Deere and sharks. Provide companionship and engage in activities related to his preferred genres of Horror and Westerns.Male client #3 needs a wheel-chair accessible environment. Facilitate his love for playing cards and dominoes. Facilitate his desire to attend church on Sundays and provide opportunities for him to sit outside and listen to music.Female client #1 needs a wheel-chair accessible environment, as she uses a motorized chair. Support her computer and phone activities, as they are essential to her. She enjoys watching TV in the evenings. Understand her commitment to her job at Vargas and the importance she places on it. Your responsibility is to maintain a safe and healthy home environment for the individual and be a mentor while helping the person as needed with the tasks of daily living. In this role, you assist withcultivating life skills and fostering independence. We work to match interests and lifestyles between people. You will participate together in activities of daily living, both at home and in the community. Through the matching process, you are able to match with a person whose needs fit the support level you wish to offer. Duties vary for each individual from minimal support (i.e., budgeting, medication, transportation, activities of daily living) to full support (i.e., dressing, toileting, feeding, positive behavioral support, etc.), and the income is commensurate with the level of support provided.
