Educational services include the development, coordination, and/or instruction of educational programs designed to meet the needs of the professional and non-professional personnel and which are in accordance with the goals and objectives of the hospital, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA standards of Practice and the generic and unit based structure standards. The educator will assess needs of staff, teach, guide and evaluate learning to implement evidence-based practice and research. Qualifications: A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible careEducation: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred). Current state license as a registered nurseExperience: Minimum 3 years of healthcare management and supervisory experience as a registered nurse in an appropriate clinical care setting, home health, or hospice environment (preferred). 2 years of hospice experience required.Required: Reliable transportation.
