Due to high demand, we are now hiring multiple Millwrights at our Wichita, KS manufacturing facility for ALL shifts. Our Millwrights support the production lines, equipment, and facility by providing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventivemaintenance activities. The abilities and skills are broad based to include mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic,plumbing and pipe fitting, welding and metal fabrication, and machinery moves including dismantle, relocation,and installation.What We Offer: Competitive salaryPaid vacation/holidays/sick timeComprehensive benefits package including 401K, medical, dental, and vision careOn the job/cross training opportunitiesEncouraging and collaborative team environmentDedication to safety through our Zero Harm policyWhat You’ll Do:Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on all production and facility machinery and equipmentand systems as required, to include mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and pipe fitting, welding andmetal fabrication, and machinery moves including dismantle, relocation, and reassemble.Utilizes a variety ofhand tools, testers, and shop power tools to accomplish the above.Works with other maintenance associates, engineers, technicians, production, and supervision in resolution ofequipment issues and repairs.Provides written documentation and reports as requested.Facilitates, coordinates, and communicates with other supervisors to coordinate repair activities in individualdepartments with a customer-oriented manner with a "customer first" sense of urgency.Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.Attends classes and seminars to update skills as required.Required to train or instruct others on technical issues and operation of equipment as needed.Overtime is required to meet production demands and can include Saturdays and Sundays when necessary.What We Look For:Must be able to read and comprehend mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and fabrication prints, layoutsand sketches and perform troubleshooting and repairs of these systems as required.High school diploma or general education degree (GED).At least 2 years of related experience.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, sketches, diagrams, and memos.Ability tocreate and write correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one small group situations toassociates, customers, clients, and vendors.Strong interpersonal skills to encompass establishing productive relationships with company management andpersonnel.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, anddecimals.
