This individual contributor role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Component planning & purchasing leader. You will be directly responsible to plan for a commodity / group of hardware that is required for the assembly of our fabrication and/or assembly of our North America HVAC business (light commercial & residential). This will include:Managing the execution of early & late supplyMRP analysisCorrect utilization of planning parametersDefining effective PFEP / order policyMaintaining accuracy of the item masterSupporting the coordination of phase in / out partsHow you will do itDefine, review & update part classifications (ABC/XYZ) and execute Plan for Every Part (PFEP) order policies across your entire commodity part portfolio.Execute material master updates regularly across your commodity to ensure effective, on time planning of material.Analyze early & late supply plans at the component level, determine appropriate required actions, and drive cross-functional execution.Become a process champion of our ECN (Engineering Change Notification) / phase in / out - support the overall coordination thru the entire lifecycle, and effectively communicate critical details across key stakeholders.Manage data analytics across your commodity to optimize component inventory levels that support your item classifications / order policy strategies..What we look forUniversity degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 6 Years suggested minimum experience.Functional experience in material planning (MRP) and supply planning (MTS and MTO strongly preferred).Functional experience within ERP systems (SAP).Functional experience within manufacturing operations.High-energy, curious learner.Data-driven, analytical problem solver.Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications, particularly Excel including creating basic equations, VLOOKUP, pivot tables off of raw sets to analyst for better conclusions.APICS Certification preferred.Ability to travel ~15%.#LI-RemoteJohnson Controls International plc. is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a qualified individual with a disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
