After opening the link, scroll down and click each box for additional benefit information.https://lifepointbenefithighlights.com/Qualifications and requirementsApplicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate orbachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.Required SkillsCertifications:Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date.Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.Current American Heart Association PALS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.Minimum Work Experience• Two (2) or more years of previous experience in an acute care setting.• Knowledge of physical assessment, aseptic techniques, IV skills, and universal precautions.Essential FunctionsPerforms plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.Documents patient care given.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.Department/Unit Summary1:1 patient ratio as only procedures are done.Patients have procedures completed in radiology and are taken back to floor or to ACU for discharge.
