We are seeking an Experienced Field Service Technician to join our growing team, supporting customers throughout the New England region. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of Crushing, Screening, Washing, and Conveying Equipment.
You’ll work in a variety of environments, including mining, quarrying and industrial operations, playing a critical role in ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our specialized equipment. Key Responsibilities Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, inspect, repair and rebuild Crushing, Screening, Washing and Conveying Equipment in field environments. Serve as a technical expert and liaison between the company and its customers. Deliver timely, high-quality service that enhances equipment performance and customer satisfaction. Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and operational issues across all product lines. Lead installation crews and subcontractors during equipment setup and commissioning. Perform welding and light fabrication when needed. Operate machinery, tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently. Accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals and technical documents related to crushing and material handling systems. Document all service activities with accuracy and clarity. Assist with generating service estimates and work scopes as required. Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure service excellence. Travel approximately 75% (including overnight stays and occasional weekends). Adhere to all job sites and MSHA safety regulations. Maintain a safe and professional work environment at all times.

Why work for Clean Harbors Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5;Competitive wages;Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment;Group 401K with company matching component;Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career;Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement;Positive and safe work environments.RESPONSIBILITIESKey Responsibilities: Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;Accurately and completely document site activities including cost tracking, worksheets, waste shipping logs, manifest management, health and safety, documentation of meetings and conference calls and other paperwork via laptop or mobile device;Work in field with hands on labor alongside crew and Project Manager/Field Service Supervisor;Travel to different project locations including Wastewater Treatment plants, soil remediation locations, and more;Reading and understanding of project documents and contracts;Will gain 40-hour Hazwoper, OSHA 10 and possibly more certifications through the company;Learn to calibrate air monitoring meters and associated Health & Safety equipment;Work on project financial tracking and assist in various project administrative functions, including generation of required reports, etc.;Ordering and receiving supplies for projects;Possibly operate some heavy equipment.QUALIFICATIONSWhat does it take to work for Clean Harbors High School Diploma or equivalent is required;Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Engineering required;Be safety orientated and have a commitment to safety;Willing to do manual labor;Willing to work outside in all kinds of weather, utilizing prescribed Personal Protective Equipment;Valid DL and clean MVR required;Should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and professional level written / oral communication skills.
