He/She assists with dispatch planning and is responsible for ensuring that service, safety, and cost goals are met. This position coordinates with others to ensure dispatch plans are executed efficiently along with adequate staffing and equipment levels for transportation needs. He/She oversees load and tractor planning and assignments, monitors load movements, and tracks the condition of equipment.
