Enterprise Infrastructure Migration Architect Location -Boston, MA Summary: Responsible for Architecting, designing and implementing information systems that will support the enterprise infrastructure of clients. Experience with Datacenter assessment tools such as Device42 or Cloudscape, Microsoft MAP, etc. Analyzes system requirements and defines system architecture that will meet business needs, including Azure cloud, hybrid-cloud, server infrastructure, capacity planning, storage requirements, and networking protocols, information security standards and regulatory compliance. Ensures that architecture project roll-outs meet security and architectural standards. Will supervise and guide the work of lower-level architects. Develop datacenter and application migration waves based on application dependency mappings, leveraging Cognizant standardized migration methodologies. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to Manager and Program managers. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in solution or project goal terms. Will also provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
