This is an onsite position.The Network Engineer candidate will work with other Network and Systems Engineers to design, build, monitor, maintain, and upgrade all program networks to ensure data is consistently available and flowing properly.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Designing, building, monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading all program networks and communications linksMonitoring and analyzing networks and communications links to identify and resolve architecture, provider, environment, or other issuesImplementing and maintaining effective tools to evaluate/analyze data movement and ensure data integrity throughout the networkWorking with engineering teams to troubleshoot integration issues and to maximize network and system performanceEstablishing appropriate network monitoring and early warning mechanisms to proactively identify potential issues before they impact operationsPerforming performance testing and tuning for all network and Cloud infrastructuresWorking with engineering teams to resolve reported problems and interfacing with third party vendors for monitoring, troubleshooting, tracking, and reporting metricsBasic Qualifications:10+ years of relevant experience serving as a Network Engineer or performing similar technical dutiesStrong experience with network hardware configuration and maintenance in large-scale environmentsStrong experience with relevant networking and firewall technologies such as Cisco and Palo AltoStrong network administration experience in areas such as DNS, routing, firewall configuration, scripting and automationStrong Cloud experience, including remote management, with technologies such as AWSStrong experience performing Tier 2-4 network troubleshooting and resolving issuesPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience managing and maintaining complex networks used to transport data worldwideAbility and willingness to travel internationally, if requiredClearance Requirements:Must possess an active/current TS/SCI w/ polygraph.Physical Requirements:Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the timeMust be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnelConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computerThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situationsThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
