Corewell Health Proton Therapy Center is equipped with a state-of-art compact single room system, IBA ProtesuONE which is the second of its kind in the world. Recently, with the research and development, it is now upgraded to the DynamicARC system, first one in the world (FDA pending). The proton physicist will gain the experience from all the aspect of validation, commission and clinical operation of the DynamicARC system. Additionally, the proton staff physicist will have opportunities to participate world-class research projects in the proton therapy center including but not limited to the proton adaptive therapy, optimization algorithm development, motion management and exploring the clinical benefit of novel treatment techniques.GENERAL SUMMARY:The Staff Physicist works within the Department of Radiation Oncology. They report to the Chief of Physics and work under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Physics and Medical Physicist Ld.
