The Professional Maintenance Specialist (PMS) will be responsible for managing designated manufacturing equipment and technology in a fast paced, high volume, unionized, manufacturing environment. These processes may include refrigeration machines, industrial air conditioning compressors, air compressors, air dryers, cooling tower fans, pumps, motors, reverse osmosis systems, actuators, and heat exchangers. Compressor Repairers also troubleshoot refrigeration controls, and perform other work related to their trade as may be required on Energy Center equipment. The Diesel and CNG Tractor Mechanic is responsible for repairing, maintaining and troubleshooting for all fleet equipment including tractor Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and diesel engines (fuel systems and electrical systems), 53' trailers, pneumatic brakes systems, engine diagnostics, and CNG/diesel engine drive trains. The Tractor / Trailer Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance inspections and comply with DOT regulations. Inspect and repair tractor and trailer under carriage components to include shocks, wheel bearings, air suspension components and front-end assemblies. Diagnose and repair CNG and diesel engine failures to include fuel systems, electrical systems, DEF systems and mechanical system malfunctions.

The Temporary Instrumentation & Electronics Technician is responsible to repair and calibrate instrumentation and test equipment used in various test cells and laboratories at the Chrysler Technical Center. The Temporary Instrumentation & Electronics Instrumentation Technician will diagnose problems associated with various industrial control systems and instruments used for process control and data collection. Examples of equipment includes high voltage systems, dynamometers, motor drives, instruments (torque, pressure, flow, and temperature), and general-purpose test and measurement equipment, etc. Further duties of the Instrumentation Temporary Instrumentation & Electronics Technician will require working with engineers to maximize the available runtime of test cells. This includes the recommendation of modifications and root cause analysis.
