About the unitBig Rapids Emergency Department is a community-based hospital that is part of the Corewell Healthcare System. The Big Rapids ED is a certified Primary Stroke Center and Level IV Trauma Center. There are 20 places to treat patients with minor to major medical and traumatic emergencies.
