About the Fleet Maintenance Manager RoleAs a Fleet Maintenance Manager, you’ll prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment managing all fleet and maintenance activities for northcentral Wisconsin hauling sites in Wausau, Minocqua and Ashland, WI. You’ll run three (3) maintenance shops while leading a total team of eight (8) technicians and a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to maintain a 90 asset fleet of diesel-powered trucks and yellow iron. You'll be overseeing budgets, vendors, suppliers, contractors in a maintenance setting. Your knowledge of heavy-duty trucks will allow you to understand service-related issues, maintain high standards in maintenance settings and ensure all safety standards are being upheld. You'll continually focus on achieving market base profitability through effective management of all fleet and maintenance activities including: cost control, management development, as well as high training and safety standards.This role reports into the District Manager, Minocqua & Ashland Hauling Districts.What You'll DoTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
