Department/Unit Summary ICU has 24 total beds with the ability to care for ICU and IMCU patient populations with care aide support. This team supports open heart, neuro surg, CRRT programs, as the level 2 trauma center for the UP of Michigan, Cath lab and Interventional radiology perform high risk PCI and high-risk procedures. Clinical Educator located on the unit and follows the ECCOs program for orientation. Acuity changes from high ICU census to high IMCU census.
