About this unitThe Rehab Unit has 42 beds and is located at Blodgett Hospital. Team members enjoy working on the unit as you can become an expert in so many areas since we care for a wide variety of diagnoses. Some of the patients we care for are stroke, lung and heart transplant, bone marrow transplant patients as well as ortho trauma, limb loss, brain injury and more. The Afterhours RN in our Advanced Illness Management (AIM) program will report directly to the Director of AIM. Responsible for identifying and coordinating patient/family needs and for providing preventive and supportive care to the palliative patients and family. Utilizes assessment, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and to enhance the quality of life.
