Job Description: FLIGHT NURSE INCENTIVESStarting Range $85,000-$88,000 annuallySchedule is a 5 days on/10 days off rotationCompany paid crew housing while on shiftWe’re hiring Flight Nurses to provide direct patient care in accordance with GMR protocols and/or medical direction. They also assist with coverage of open shifts as needed with the assigned area.JOB DUTIESFlight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situationsUtilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ ordersTake pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies with safety standards and briefingsWork collaboratively and effectively communicates in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partnersShare shift change info to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and recordsNurses are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the positionQUALIFICATIONSExperience:Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an emergency or critical care setting requiredFlight experience preferredEducation:Current RN licensure in the states served by the assigned area requiredEMT Certification in state(s) where requiredAHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status.
