SUMMARY: Operates automated and manual equipment to produce quality product.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.· Reads job specifications or work instructions to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.· Operates automated production line.· Performs inspection on product for adhesion, solderability, thickness and alloy.· Performs line Maintenance and bath maintenance.· Uses microscope for visual inspection.· Reports work piece defects or machine malfunction to manager.· Performs Discharge analysis and performs discharge operation.· Makes Minor adjustments and calibrations.· Performs Boiler Maintenance and operates water system.· Calibrates and operates Atomic Absorption Analysis and X Ref.· Performs shipping, receiving and inventory duties.· Performs Part Setups.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Requires knowledge typically acquired through:· Completion of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED),· One to three years related experience or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.· Ability to write simple correspondence.· Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.· Ability to comprehend simple decimals and fractions.· Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.· Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.· Ability to input data into Excel.· Ability to maintain tools and equipment utilized in assignments and perform minor adjustments to tools and equipment.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
