Depending upon the location, may need to be knowledgeable of providing care to tenants with dementia. The NA is considered a member of the nursing team and is expected to know, and will be held accountable for, following infection prevention and control policies and Personal Protective Equipment use. The nursing department provides care 24 hours/day; any of those hours may be an expectation of employment specific to the needs of the department, possibly with varying shifts. These needs change dependent upon staffing availability and resident census. Will be required to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
