Key Roles and Responsibilities: Patient Care and Monitoring: Perform routine assessments such as measuring vital signs, recording patient histories, and observing symptoms to assist in diagnosing and monitoring patient health.Assisting with Procedures: Support physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and minor procedures by preparing equipment, assisting with patient positioning, and ensuring proper infection control.Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications, including injections and oral drugs, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects, ensuring accurate documentation.Coordination of Care: Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, and assist in coordinating follow-up appointments and referrals.Patient Intake and Preparation: Conduct initial patient intake processes, including gathering medical histories, updating personal information, and preparing patients for examination or diagnostic testing.This position will work the following:32 hours/weekNo Weekends8 Hour ShiftsDay Shift: 7:30AM - 5:00PMLicensure/Certification Qualifications:Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months.
