Communicates and interacts with co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.Position Responsibilities:Review work schedule, perform safety check on equipment, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Work from preventative maintenance schedules, various checklists, manuals, diagrams, specifications, vehicle file and instructions.Assist in performing regular scheduled tractor inspections, complete checklists, troubleshoot and make routine repairs as required. Perform major repair work to tractors and trailers, disassemble, remove, repair or replace defective parts or components of gas or diesel engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, ignition, electrical and hydraulic systems, air conditioning, refrigeration controls and units, clutches, brakes and mechanical or electrical operating units.Assist in servicing and repairing refrigeration units, repair engines, repair leaks, replace tubing, condensers, thermal controls, and recharge units with approved refrigerant gas.Operate electric arc welding equipment to repair ramps, ladders and tripods, repair or construct new cargo bars.Assist on road service trips, maintain required logs, records, checklists and reports, maintain garage tools, equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.Perform other similar or related operations as assigned or directed. As a Technologists Assistant, you will provides assistance to technologists in areas that allow technologist to maintain an on-time schedule and run the scanning area in an orderly fashion.This is a casual position working various shifts between 8:00am-8:00pm, flexible schedule. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (70%) Technologist Assistance Monitors MRI, CT, arthrogram and x-ray schedulesAdjusts patients schedule when necessary and keeping all techs informed of any changesGreets and escorts patients to changing room; briefly explains procedurePrepares patient jackets and compiles films putting them together in appropriate jacket according to date and numberAssists technologists in room set up between patients, including putting proper coil on table, putting previous coil away and changing table sheetHelps the technologist stay on time by having the next patient ready before the current patient is ready to get off the tableRestores and networks all previous exams for next day's returning patients (20%) Cleaning & Organization Stocks and cleans work and control areas and MRI room(s)Ensures that all MRI patient areas are stocked and organized in a neat and tidy mannerCleans and stocks patient prep room and patient restroomStocks linen and empties laundry at the end of the nightOrganizes and cleans supply closet and computer roomsOrganizes radiologist reading area after radiologist has left for the dayChecks with MRI technologists, Medical Records and/or Front Office for additional duties as needed (10%) Performs other duties as assigned
