Gaylord is located in south central Minnesota about an hour west of the Twin Cities and 35 minutes from Mankato, Hutchinson, and New Ulm. As the County Seat, Gaylord is the "Hub of Sibley County." Our location produces liquid egg, hardcook egg, and precooked egg such as scrambled, patties and omelets. Responsibilities: Position is responsible supervising all production areas at the Gaylord facility and for the training, scheduling and development of 60+ employees during 1st shift production. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position always has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value.Produces the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost consistent with good manufacturing practices.Provides a safe work environment for all personnel.Recognizes and takes steps to resolve operating problems in order to minimize their impact on the operations.Requests and directs services of maintenance, sanitation and other personnel as may be necessary to achieve the desired level and quality of production, sanitation, safety and warehouse services.Cooperates with all departments to assure a coordinated work relationship exists at all times.Responsible for ingredient usage and all other department costs.Keeps accurate and up-to-date records (i.e. timecards, downtime records, absentee records, etc.).Enforces company policies in a fair and consistent manner.Encourages suggestions from employees which will improve production, quality, safety and/or control costs of production.Keeps operations manager informed on operating and/or employee problems, quality, safety and/or control costs of production.Maintains consistent communications and monthly department meetings.Provides a safe working environment.Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI products.Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.2- 3 years supervisory experience, preferably in the food industry.PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and teaming skills.Ability to prioritize and follow directions with little/no supervision.Must have strong organizational skills and ability to do multi-functional tasks.Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends when requiredBi-lingual (Spanish-English) is a plus.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and in group situations.Ability to respond to questions from internal/external customers/vendors at all levels including management.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.

Hopkins is located 7 miles west of Minneapolis, boasting natural surroundings in a suburban environment that also provides quick access to major travel ways and local restaurants that give our community a distinct character. Located in the Excelsior Crossing building where employees are provided with beautifully landscaped walking paths and water features creating an optimal environment for outdoor and walking meetings, along with the opportunity to take a relaxing walk or outdoor lunch before, within, or after your work day. Responsibilities: This position plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned engineering work at assigned manufacturing facilities; monitors work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and standards; ensures effective communication between all disciplines and all other project participants. They will work extensively with and require assistance from multiple departments throughout the organization to properly define and execute successful projects. Projects will vary greatly in requirements/execution and scope from small installations to large expansions. The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects at varying sites, while maintaining budgets, timing and quality are a must. Candidate must possess a drive to consistently be improving/learning and applying new methods to overcome obstacles/barriers to complete their tasks.Identify, define, program manage and implement equipment/process/building/utility installations within the integrated supply chain.Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects, including contractors/equipment manufacturers/internal support.Ability to recognize when technical problems are developing and initiate appropriate corrective action.Requires extensive regular contact with assigned project clients.Work with manufacturing facilities on equipment/layout challenges.Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals.Support multiple facilities by identifying cost savings opportunities.Support/Lead continual sanitary equipment design updates with FSQ/plant/staff.Support Facilities with troubleshooting production/building/equipment issues as assigned.Support facilities in development of equipment purchase/project plans for future replacement/upgrades or process capacity increases.Participating in meetings and resolving client/engineering and management project issues. Solicit feedback from facilities and business units to improve project execution.Ensure effective engineering and client communications through thorough understanding of the supply chain and the impact of assigned projects/equipment/building changes.Travel is Project/Workload dependent, approximately 70%. Qualifications: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Chemical Engineering or Related Experience/Education.5+ years of end user experience with CapEx projects, Maintenance, Equipment/Process Design and Food Production Environment a plus.Project management experience. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication. Ability to work with vendors, customers, and employees.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:Experience with CPG packaging technology and automation.AutoCAD Software Experience.Knowledge of PLC’s, 3A standards, USDA Regulations.#FirstInPeople
