As a Production Supervisor, you will report to a Production Manager. This is an on-site position, located in Macon, MO. This role may support various shifts, depending on the need of the business. Primary responsibilities include ensuring a safe work environment, producing a quality product at the lowest cost, developing the workforce to deliver customer orders on time while promoting a culture of process improvement. Lead production teams to ensure production guidelines are met within established timing, quality, and cost standards.What Impact Will You Have Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained.Provide employee training to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities.Administer plant rules, regulations and procedures.Evaluate performance, communicate with employees, and provide information for performance improvement.Help support plant and company safety programs, promoting a high level of awareness to defined employee safety requirements such as lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment, confined space entry.Do You Have What It Takes High school diploma or GED equivalentTwo years+ management experiencePrevious experience working in a manufacturing environmentUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and lossKnowledge of Good Manufacturing PracticesAvailable to work weekends and flex hoursPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the responsibilities of this job, you are required to talk and hear, frequently required to stand and walk.
