Since 1919, Meek's has provided personalized service and quality building materials to both construction professionals and homeowners, and today supports customers via locations in Arkansas, California, Missouri and Nevada.Now Building - Future Leaders!Meek's Lumber, a Division of US LBM is seeking a Door Assembler to join their team in Lockwood, MO!Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 5:00 PMWage: $14 per hourHow You Will Spend Your Days as a Door Shop Production Associate:Working on a door assembly line.Stock doors, frames, plates and stock components for door assembly.Assemble components under the direction of the line leaders.Operate all equipment necessary to the assembly process. Utilizing Power saws, air nail guns, staplers and other tools needed to prepare wood material used to assemble doors.Pick and pull production material as needed.Load and band finished materials on carts/racks/pallets inside and/or outside.Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Observe and adhere to all safety rules; maintain a safeenvironment.Assist in maintaining an organized work environment which may include emptying trash receptacles and keeping all bays/staging areas clean and organized.Comply with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.Participate in and complete assigned trainings.Other duties as assigned by Management.We want you to join the team if you can check these boxes:Minimum experience required- Prior carpentry experience helpfulSpecial skills required- Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer. Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses, and staple guns.Physical demands include exposure to extreme temperatures, lifting up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis and up to 100 lbs. occasionally. Dusty and noisy environment when operating woodworking machines and tools. Ear protection required when exposed to noise for an extended period of time.
