Reporting to a Senior Manager of Engineering Services, the person in this role will support the Engineering Services department's objective and work in partnership with maintenance, production, and other departments.The successful candidate must exhibit Toyota Way leadership values; (Respect for People and Continuous Improvement Activity). The candidate must also develop and execute schedule for said priorities and report their status to the senior management group.What you’ll be doing Support the existing managers with the ongoing establishment of the engineering services department by recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new members.Guide engineers to achieve Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost and People Development KPIs.Train, promote, teach, and further develop Toyota systems in a startup environment.Become knowledgeable and learn quickly about the people, process, and product to provide technical expertise and direction to the team when needed.Spend a considerable amount of time on the production floor with equipment and people.
