This unit offers a unique small, family atmosphere, fostering close-knit relationships among staff and patients alike. Nurses here not only gain familiarity with the entire hospital but also become integral members of the community they serve. As the unit evolves to accommodate a changing patient population, nurses can learn a wide array of skills and enjoy considerable independence and autonomy in their practice. Additionally, situated in a prime location for gaining valuable experience with trauma cases, it provides an excellent opportunity for nurses to develop their skills in the Emergency Department setting. QualificationsAssociates degree in nursing Current North Carolina Nursing License or Multi-State/Compact Adaptability to accommodate a changing patient population. Familiarity with hospital-wide operations and community integration. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.
