Position Location:
This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.
What you do:
Provide strategic leadership leading key areas including procurement, accounts payable, benefits accounting, and accounting reconciliations; ensuring each function operates at its best and aligns with the overall business goals.Ensure compliance and excellence overseeing financial reporting support activities, accounting projects, and the accounting reconciliation control environment, ensuring that all activities adhere to regulatory requirements and audit standards while driving a culture of continuous improvement.Drive innovation and efficiency by designing and implementing plans and initiatives that not only address current business needs but also build capabilities needed for a more effective and efficient future state.Guides business strategy by owning and directing the development of business support strategies, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and successful achievement of key business outcomes.Create and communicate a compelling vision and strategy for the Accounting & Finance team, inspiring associates to reach new heights and align with the organization’s long-term goals.Cultivate a competitive edge by staying externally aware of market trends and leveraging that knowledge to benefit the organization.Invest in the growth and development of associates and business resources, ensuring the team is well-equipped to meet current and future challenges.Represent the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values by exemplifying strong leadership and a relentless focus on customer satisfaction.Strengthen internal and external relationships to support, promote, and grow the business, ensuring a strategic network of partnerships that drive success.Act as an enterprise-wide contributor by partnering with leaders across the organization on cross-division initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared success.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.10+ years of relevant accounting experience required.7-10 years of supervisory experience required.CPA designation is desired.
