The Division Human Resources Manager shall oversee the company’s human resources practices in assigned areas to ensure those practices are consistent and support the Companies’ vision, mission and core values. The ideal candidate will work with all employees to foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of the divisions assigned.Employee Sourcing, Hiring, Retention and Separation Management:
Execute recruiting strategies to ensure the division is appropriately staffedManage the staffing process including recruiting, screening, interview scheduling, hiring and onboardingCollaborate with Corporate Human Resources to ensure job descriptions are up-to-date and properly designed to attract the best possible candidatesWork with managers and employees through the separation processTraining & Development:
Responsible for implementing and tracking training and development programs in conjunction with department heads and Corporate Human ResourcesPromote a culture of learning to encourage adoption of training and development initiativesEnsure the professional development of all employeesEmployee Communication:Investigate employees' issues and conflicts and bring them to resolutionBridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, concerns or other issuesParticipate in performance evaluations (as needed), employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigationsEmployee Relations:
Remain compliant with state and federal laws while working in tandem with department headsUpdate and communicate employment policies following regulatory requirements and corporate directivesMaintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment lawInvestigate and conclude employment practice complaints including litigation supportManage leave of absence and workmen’s compensation claimsPayroll:
Back up for payrollResolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll questionsUpdating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and savings deductionsPreparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, and non-taxable wagesUnion Management:
Administer labor relations policies and agreementsProvide information to employees about unions and their rightsHandle grievances, arbitrations and disciplinary action related to unionsInterpret and administer union contracts related to unions, wages and employee benefits

What you'll need to succeed:
Bachelor’s Degree2+ Years Experience of Full Cycle Recruiting3+ Years Experience of Human Resources GeneralistExperience with Kronos, Ultipro or UKG (A PLUS), or the proven ability to quickly learn a new HRIS systemStrong Decision-Making AbilityExcellent Oral, Written and Interpersonal Communication SkillsAbility to Act with Integrity, Professionalism and ConfidentialityAbility to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment and Handle Challenges in a Professional MannerDemonstrated Organizational, Supervisory and Leadership Skills
