Your responsibilities will include:Maintaining workflow and managing treatment room needs, ensuring patient care remains a top priority.Assigning veterinary technicians to patients, overseeing shift roles, and delegating tasks as new situations arise.Coordinating and participating in patient rounds, updating and passing along critical patient information to ensure seamless continuity of care.Providing hands-on patient care, including administering various treatments for in-house and outpatient cases, as well as positioning and capturing radiographs.Serving as a conflict resolver, investigating and deescalating conflicts among team members and clients in the absence of management.Ensuring protocols and policies are followed, guiding the team to uphold best practices and safety measures.Receiving call-outs and late notices, informing the appropriate manager, and determining if an on-call team member is needed to maintain optimal staffing.In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with emergency veterinarians, department leaders, and support staff to provide life-saving care while fostering a positive, cohesive team environment.Anticipated ScheduleThis is a full-time position with the following available schedules:Sunday – Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PMPlease note that some holidays are required.
